Sr Java Full Stack Developer (On-site)

Location: On-site for the following - Wilmington, DE;, Columbus, OH; Palo Alto, CA and Plano, TX

Responsibilities:

--- Involve in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work in a highly dynamic Agile environment.

--- Design and develop software using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices.

--- Hands on AWS experience in EKS, ECS, AWS Lambda, Terraform, AWS Aurora Postgres, AWS logging and monitoring using Datadog, AWS Security groups, AWS MSK(Kafka)

--- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

--- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues

--- Adds value to team delivery and works with team to complete tasks to high quality and actively learns new skills.


Qualifications:

--- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

--- 10+ years of software development experience

--- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices and development of cloud native applications in AWS

--- Experience in Aurora PostgresSQL, Kafka, MSK, SQS, Distributed Systems

--- Build and deployment tools like Jules and Jenkins

--- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to partner effectively

--- Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving

--- Being a self-starter, quick learner, detail oriented.


Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $77K - $143K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.


This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
