Job Description:
ResponsibilitiesLeads the development effort by conveying the
vision to an Agile or Scrum delivery team, outlining and
prioritizing work based on business value. Liaises with
stakeholders to ensure their interests are included in the release,
and with the team to ensure the release is developed by the
deadline and within budget. Responsible for the business aspects of
the project, including ensuring the right product is being built in
the right order, within budget, and by the deadline. Serves as the
primary contact for the Agile or Scrum delivery team for
information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Coordinates
and monitors the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
Acts as a liaison between the product owner, development team, and
management to ensure all targets and requirements are met. Ensures
team members understand project objectives. Maintains product
backlog and release plan, facilitates productivity by organizing
meetings, and removes impediments that may obstruct the team's
sprint goals. Preserves flexibility and the ability to rapidly
respond to changes. Acts as the facilitator for an agile
development team. The Scrum Master manages the process for how
information is exchanged.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility to obtain a
polygraph.
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.),
including roles, ceremonies, and artifacts.
- Excellent problem-solving and facilitation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of
working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-oriented
environment.
- Familiarity with software development processes and tools
(e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar tools).
- Comfortable with change and able to manage multiple priorities
in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scaling Agile frameworks such as SAFe or
LeSS.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM),
or equivalent Agile certification is highly desirable.Peraton
