Administrator 1015 Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required. DHS
Secret Clearance required. Candidates with dual citizenship cannot
be considered per government requirements. Location: Full-time
onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD Dev Technology is seeking a Red
Hat Enterprise Linux Administrator to provide expertise in managing
and optimizing assets for our federal client's critical operations
What You'll Be Doing: Manage and support RHEL-based server
infrastructure, encompassing installation, configuration, and patch
management Perform system administration tasks for RHEL 7.x/8.x,
including setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance Monitor and
analyze system performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks,
implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and reliability
Execute system backup and recovery operations to ensure data
protection and high availability Assess and recommend hardware and
software solutions to address business needs and improve the RHEL
server environment Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation
for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting
procedures Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools like
Tenable, HP WebInspect, and similar platforms Investigate security
incidents, assess risks, and design mitigation strategies,
implementing proactive and reactive measures to enhance security
Required Education, Experience, and Skills: Active Secret clearance
required. U.S. Citizenship required (dual citizens not eligible due
to federal contract requirements). Experience with federal
government contracts, with a preference for contracts under
Homeland Security. 7 years of experience working as a system admin
on Linux or Red Hat systems is required; related experience is
acceptable. Participation in a rotational on-call schedule for
emergency page-outs is required. Candidates must reside within a
commutable distance for daily onsite work and meet recall/on-call
requirements in a 24x7x365 environment. Preferred Education,
Experience, and Skills: Team player and fast learner with the
ability to work proactively and independently. Strong
problem-solving skills to support geographically diverse
