Job Description Job Description Attorney - Commercial Litigation Established (30 Years) Premier Firm Seeking Commercial Litigation Counsel or Junior Partner for Commercial Litigation in Tysons Corner, VA or Bethesda, MD. An established firm based in Tysons Corner with over 30 years in practice is seeking a Commercial Litigation Counsel or Junior Partner with approximately 10-20 years of experience to join their team onsite. This Attorney will have experience with commercial litigation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters. Offer : Salary range: $180,000-$250,000, contingent on experience. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Retirement plan Paid time off Professional development resources Additional compensation available for candidates bringing a portable book of business Qualifications : The candidate must have substantial commercial litigation experience and be able to independently manage matters from inception through resolution. The candidate must be admitted to the Virginia Bar, with DC or Maryland admission considered a valuable additional qualification. The candidate must be capable of taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and handling trial work as needed. The candidate must be able to supervise junior attorneys and manage client relationships effectively. The candidate must be able to collaborate with senior partners on high-level strategy while maintaining autonomy over daily case responsibilities. Responsibilities : The attorney will independently manage commercial litigation matters from inception through final resolution. The attorney will serve as day-to-day lead counsel on assigned cases. The attorney will take and defend depositions, prepare and argue motions, and handle trial work several times per year. The attorney will supervise junior attorneys when appropriate. The attorney will collaborate with senior partners for strategic guidance while maintaining ownership of case files. The attorney will support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the practice. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
