Description – Operations Clerk Reports to Sr. Manager of Logistics
or Distribution Manager Direct Reports None Full-Time/Part-Time
Full-time: 40 hours a week. Exempt. Incumbent Hourly Rate $18.20 -
$19.30 hourly Job Summary: The Operations Clerks provide hands-on
support with daily food distribution activities, warehouse tasks,
and customer service. Depending on the assignment, duties may
include assisting with food distribution, supporting food box
production, maintaining inventory and storage areas, keeping
service and workspaces clean and organized, loading/unloading
items, and helping to ensure smooth operations across our programs.
Clerks work closely with Operations and/or Logistics supervisors
and help create a positive, respectful, and community-centered
environment. Key Responsibilities · Assist in distributing food at
Satellite Distribution Sites or Choice Market according to
established procedures. · Support management of inventory, and/or
restocking shelves by following First In-First Out inventory, and
request guidance from the Senior Manager of Logistics or
Distribution Manager when needed. · Stage food production line and
keep the production line stocked, and work with volunteers in
preparation for food box production in the Warehouse (produce,
shelf-stable food, special boxes), based on First In-First Out for
all food distributions, including School-Based Programs,
Satellites, Choice Market, etc. · Finalize and stage finished
product food boxes, including the daily counts, palletize them, and
have them ready for distribution sites. · Stage designated area for
the sorting of food products, Assist in unloading and loading
trucks when needed. · Keep the Walk-in Freezer and Refrigerator
restocked, organized, and clean. · Engage and provide support and
guidance to volunteers. Ensure that all participants are treated
with respect and kindness at all times. Assist in ensuring that
work areas are clean/sanitized and well-organized. Provide support
to logistics and operations functions, and carry out additional
responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Strong customer
service skills and the ability to work respectfully with
participants and volunteers. Experience in fast-paced environments
such as food service, retail, or social service settings. Ability
to multitask and manage a variety of responsibilities. Strong
logistical and organizational abilities. Ability to operate
electric pallet jacks—or an eagerness to learn Willingness to
perform physical tasks; lifting requirements may apply depending on
assignment. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred. Some
evening and occasional weekend hours may be required.

more than 100 pounds. Specific vision requirements for this role
include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
