Job Description Job Description Position Objective The Logistics
Lead is responsible for coordinating logistics functions, managing
logistics coordinators, managing internal and external drivers and
ensuring timely delivery of goods while optimizing efficiency and
cost-effectiveness. Core Responsibilities Culture / One ATOMIC –

support for each other. The dynamic nature of the live events
industry requires flexibility to work overtime, including early
mornings, evenings and weekends, as dictated by project schedules
and client needs. Manage all day-to-day Logistics operations for
Atomic Book travel (air, ground, per diem) for ATOMIC employees and
clients. Quote inbound and outbound shipments for MODs and Custom
Fabrication. Coordinate trucking and transportation needs for all
inbound and outbound shipments. Coordinate internal truck schedule
for ATOMIC Truck Driver. Reserve logistics equipment as required by
Warehouse or Onsite (i.e. Forklift) Proactively communicate with
internal departments and clients regarding status. Track and ensure
shipments are on schedule to meet project timeline. Problem-solving
through delays and costs. Develop relationships with vendors to
ensure best service and price. Organizational Relationships The
Logistics Lead reports to the Director of Supply Chain Management
and works closely with Project Managers, Account Managers and
Department Leads. Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Working
knowledge of scenic construction and rigging. People skills leading
to the ability to work with / lead various personality types
Effective communication skills across all levels. Strong time
management, prioritization, and planning skills. Critical thinking
and problem-solving skills. Ability to work within a budget.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel
In-depth knowledge of shop tools, hardware, equipment, and a
variety of materials and finishes. Page Break Credentials &
Experience 3-5 years of logistics experience in a fabrication or
manufacturing environment. 2-4 years as a people leader who creates
conditions for team growth and success. Authorization to work in
the US without sponsorship. Page Break Maintain current passport
and if applicable current driver’s license / clean driving record.
In-depth knowledge of shop tools, hardware, equipment, and a
variety of materials and finishes. Physical Requirements Ability to
perform typical office tasks using a computer and phone in a
typical office environment. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Work
Environment Typical office environment for the majority of the time
with occasional work in a warehouse environment.
