HR Sales Compensation Analyst

Job Description:

The Sales Compensation Analyst will function in an analyst capacity to support the compensation function with variable pay program (i.e. Sales Commissions, Short-Term Incentive design & communication, other bonus programs, contests, incentives) design, implementation and on-going management. Works with multiple Finance functions to support commission and sales incentive plan accruals and payout calculations. Provides monthly and quarterly incentive compensation processing, validation, analysis and distribution of incentive compensation reports and incentive payments.

What You Will Do:

  • Sales Comp: Support the design, modeling and tracking of performance against sales incentive programs built to support the broader strategic vision of Radian. Assist in the identification of key metrics that drive sales and ensure those metrics are being properly and thoroughly captured, analyzed and reported on. Participate in review of sales positions against competitive third party market data to maintain external parity and actively monitor incentive program performance.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Perform monthly and quarterly incentive compensation processing, validation, analysis and distribution of incentive compensation reports and incentive payments. Design databases and work with HRIS to produce efficient and accurate reporting on a timely basis.

  • Program Effectiveness and Validation: Partner with Senior HR, Sales, and FP&A leadership to design, model and track performance against sales incentive programs built to support the broader strategic vision of Radian. Assist in the identification of key metrics that drive sales and ensure those metrics are being properly and thoroughly captured, analyzed and reported on. Ensure Radian sales positions are benchmarked against competitive third party market data to maintain external parity and actively monitor incentive program performance.

  • Ad-hoc Program Design and Documentation: Support the design, documentation and tracking of ad-hoc sales contests and short-term incentive programs built to drive and engage concentrated sales performance top meet business needs. Actively monitor program performance and ensure accurate and timely recognition and awards are distributed.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Sales compensation experience and familiarity with Finance and Accounting concepts and principles.

  • Advanced proficiency is use of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

  • High level of attention to detail required in managing large amounts of data and analytical tasks.

  • Data analysis and /or sales organization experience

  • Strong analytic ability and business acumen

  • Present data to the management team

  • Effectively manage multiple priorities/ support different departments or lines of business

  • Ability to monitor and assess data trends, identify data anomalies and derive root causes

  • Assist with generating plan documentation and presentations

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED Required.

  • Junior or Senior Level Undergraduate or Post-Gradate/Master's work preferred.
