**The Work and Why it Matters**
Nationwide, students are experiencing a significant interruption in
their formal education due to COVID-19 and resulting extended
school closures. While educators and students alike have many
unprecedented challenges to overcome this upcoming school year,
educators report that their top concern is students falling behind
in math. This concern is heightened for educators in high-poverty
districts who teach predominantly black or Latinx students.
Saga is unique in that in addition to direct tutoring, we also
develop best-in-class software products to not only help our
students, but also our partner organizations. Today this includes
[Saga Connect](https://www.sagaeducation.org/saga-connect), [Saga
Coach](https://www.sagaeducation.org/sagacoach), and [Woot
Math](https://www.wootmath.com/). We are in the early stages of
development of a new unnamed software product that will
revolutionize online learning. This is your opportunity to produce
math and related learning content not only for this exciting new
product, but all of Saga's products, and help truly make a
difference for our students.
**Position Overview -**
Reporting to Saga's Senior Product Manager, this individual's
production work will be instrumental in helping create robust
digital tools, curriculum and learning solutions that scale Saga's
products to reach more students. The Digital Producer will
collaborate across teams, working closely with the curriculum and
creative teams, to help produce content for our suite of math
products, so a strong knowledge of high school mathematics
(Algebra, Geometry, etc) is necessary. In addition to producing
content for our math applications, this role will also assist in
the creation of marketing copy, blogs, videos, email marketing
campaigns, whitepapers, and more.
**Responsibilities**
- You will work closely with Saga's Academic's Team, Creative Team
and third party partners to build, manage and maintain digital
course content
- You will work internally across teams to manage the course
content build process and ensure on-time releases of our software
products
- You will identify and troubleshoot course content build issues
and communicate effects of project changes on schedule and
delivery
- You will utilize a suite of internal CMS tools to produce,
publish, and test content for our suite of math products
- You will utilize basic web programming (HTML, CSS, Javascript) to
layout and generate questions and responses
- You will perform quality assurance on websites and
applications
- You will gather and analyze usage statistics from Google
Analytics, Google Cloud, and/or HubSpot

equivalent work experience
- You have experience as a producer, content management specialist
or product specialist, preferred
- You have a strong interest in technology and experience with
digital tools (i.e. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Adobe Products, Google
Suite, digital marketing platforms, etc).
- You have a deep understanding and enjoyment of middle and high
school mathematics
