Principal - Head of Training and Communications, Third Party Governance

Job Description:

Manages the Training & Communications team (3-4 people) in support of the enterprise-wide, global Third-Party Risk Management program, which is undergoing a strategic transformation to meet heightened regulatory expectations. Responsible for designing and developing instructional materials, guides, and online training courses for business stakeholders, covering the end-to-end processes and systems. Organizes and facilitates live training sessions and produces recorded training, as needed. Develops and executes communication strategy, including broad email announcements, newsletters, and blogs. Maintains an intranet site with comprehensive content about the program and notable developments. Participates in user experience initiatives to enhance systems and workflows, with appropriate screen messages and notifications. Executes a program improvement survey to identify business user challenges and enhancement opportunities and leads the development of action plans to address feedback, with input from program stakeholders. Leads regular meetings with senior stakeholders from across Third-Party Governance, Third-Party Management, Global Supply Chain Management, Lines of Business and regions, as well as Risk and Compliance groups. Provides appropriate guidance to the team. Ensures that all deliverables are delivered on time and with high quality to meet heightened regulatory expectations. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 10-12 years of total work experience preferred. Strong presentation skills as well as strong communication skills u2013 verbal and written u2013 are a must. Other professional requirements include extensive experience in developing presentations for audiences at all organizational level (executive management, business users, etc.); instructional design and course development (e.g., Storyline); visual/graphic design; written communications. Experience in developing intranet sites and blogging and/or marketing is a plus. Knowledge of operational risk or third-party risk is a plus. Desired personal traits include intellectual curiosity, creativity, ability to present information in a structured format, ability to operate in a highly regulated environment, with management and audit-driven timelines, reliability, and professional networking.
