AllSTEM Connections is looking for an Advanced Cloud Services Software Engineer to work in Wilmington, Delaware or Jersey City, New Jersey. This is a contract to direct hire opportunity with benefits. Pay is depending on experience.Description-Proficient in Python development as well as multiple design techniques-Working proficiency in Python toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software-Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks-Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security-Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages-Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of SoftwareSkills-Experienced with AWS & GCP server less tools & ArchitecturePython / Java-Understand CI/CD (Jenkins/Jules)-Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)-Understand server less architecture-Experience working on Testing frameworks (Junit, Unit test, Acceptance)-SplunkResponsibilities- Adding AWS guardrails to monitor security configurations applied- Manage applications life cycle starting from requirements collection, development, deployment- Support Tier 3 on call support- Report status via JIRA on going tasks- Do peer code reviews of task being developed by other team members.AllSTEM Connections is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, religion, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other status or condition protected by lawAllSTEM Connections is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
