follow us on .Job Summary: Performs various financial reporting and
analyses functions applying independent judgment and account
principles in compliance with company policy and Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles (GAAP). *Essential Responsibilities:
- Complete account reconciliations in a timely manner in the time
period specified by management
- Supports month-end and year-end closing process
- Maintain and measure key operating KPI's and drive
improvement
- Support & complete financial and management reporting as
required
- Assists with monitoring and analyzing department performance to
budget, compile variance analysis for management review
- Assist with monitoring margin drivers and variances and
coordinate actions with other functional teams
- Calculate and lead discussions with appropriate personnel
surrounding POC calculations for project-based businesses
- Assists with government rate calculations, government audits,
and the filing of the annual incurred cost submission.
- Assists in the creation of annual business plans
- Manage plant fixed assets
- Assists with audits conducted by the Company's outside audit
firm.
- Recommends, updates, and writes policies and procedures
reflective of sound accounting principles *This job description is

- Must be able to work on government contracts directly or access
shared data resources (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident of the
U.S.)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or Business Administration
with emphasis in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing setting
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP's and pivot
tables
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently without significant
supervision
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
- Experience in Government Contract Accounting is a plusWork
