The Department of Health, Bureau of Laboratories play a critical role in the prevention and control of public health agents in Pennsylvania.As a public health supervisor, Microbiologist 3, you will lead a team of microbiologists in the advanced molecular detection methods which provides valuable surveillance results to public health programs across the state. Laboratory methods for sequencing: nucleic acid extraction and amplification, library prep and data workflows. This position provides technical assistance and services to public health partners and clinical microbiology laboratories throughout the state.Interested in learning more?
