Back to Basics Learning Dynamics exists to provide a 1-on-1 educational experience conducive to each individual's learning style, regardless of age, and to inspire personal growth and support learning goals. We also provide necessary interpreting services for schools and parents alike in order to maintain open communication lines to further support students in need. -Back to Basics is seeking -interpreters to interpret for IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, mental health evaluations, and more! If you have a passion for helping people connect using their cultural background and professional language skills, we want to hear from you.How it Works:Interpreters are called to cover appointments on an as-needed basis working on-call around their schedule. This is not a full-time or part-time position but instead is a position as an independent contractor (1099). This position offers great hourly rates, and the flexibility you need to work on other projects, and is a great way to help your community! Appointments are typically within the business hours of Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm. If you do not have availability/flexibility during those days and -hours in the week, this may not be right for you. Interpreters are paid by the hour and bi-weekly via direct deposit.Languages needed:Haitian CreoleLocation:New Castle County, Delaware, -In-PersonJOB REQUIREMENTS

• It is preferred that candidates possess documentation to show proficiency in languages other than English. -If documentation is not available, candidates might be asked to complete a proficiency test.
• Candidates MUST have at least 2 -years of professional interpreting experience on their resume. -Language proficiency alone is not -sufficient. Volunteer interpreting for a school or church or -interpreting for family/friends is also -not sufficient. -
• Must be willing to get a background check including Federal, State, and Child Registry Checks. -
• Must have reliable transportation; mileage will be reimbursed at the appropriate rate.
