Head of Card Acquisition Fraud Risk
Head of Card Acquisition Fraud Risk is a senior leadership position which plays a critical role in leading a team that drives end to end solutions which mitigate risk while providing a balanced solution to minimize revenue loss, operating costs and customer impacts. A seasoned and dynamic leader will lead this group, collaborating closely with Credit Risk, Operations, Marketing, Product, Digital, Legal and Compliance, Modeling, and Governance on the following critical components which are instrumental to the health, soundness, and continued growth of the Card business with -$180B in loans: Key responsibilities of this position include:

• 
  
• Management of card acquisition fraud risk team, from providing strategic direction for this area to strategy development, execution, monitoring & governance.
  
• Acquire deep understanding of suspicious fraud attributes and behavior, and drive analytics that provide the granularity needed to identify targeted customer profile.
  
• Implement disciplined approach to testing, project execution and development of robust tracking and performance monitoring capabilities.
  
• Keep up with industry trends and bring innovative third party solutions in credit abuse / ID theft / synthetic ID space after successful Proof of Concept (POC).
  
• Synthesize in-depth analysis succinctly and effectively communicate with multi functional stakeholders including senior management.
  
• Partner closely with Credit Risk, Operations, Marketing, Product, Digital, Legal and Compliance, Modeling, and Governance to ensure flawless execution of policy
  
• Appropriately assess credit abuse and fraud risk associated with new product / strategic change
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • 15+ years of relevant risk management or financial services experience required
    
  • People management experience, including experience as a manager of managers
    
  • Experienced risk manager with full knowledge of card product P&L dynamics and the interaction of consumer behavior, product configuration and market/economic environment
    
  • Hands-on experience with portfolio performance monitoring and diagnostics
    
  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA/MS preferred; Education includes demonstrated knowledge in a financial or analytical field including engineering, mathematics, statistics
    
  • Strong knowledge of the applicable laws and regulations and the current environment which govern Credit Card lending policies and practices
