Our 24,100 employees at 1,300 operating locations provide our customers with top-quality, innovative products and services.Position Overview -This position is responsible for weighing, certifying and ticketing aggregate products loaded onto trucks exiting the site while also providing administrative support to the site superintendent.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.
• Conduct daily safety assignments (area inspections, pre-shift, JSA's, TRACK, etc.)
• Weigh, certify and ticket aggregate products and trucks.
• Verify time card entries into infield against time sheets submitted.
• Enter work requests into CMMS based upon reviewed pre-shift/post-shift reports
• Receive cash payments for materials and deliveries and prepares reports of cash sales.
• Check gross truck weights against PennDOT maximum(s).
• Perform axle weights as needed.
• Prepare error logs and send to customer service daily.
• Makes and answers phone calls.
• Quote list prices for company products.
• Corresponds with truck drivers.
• Prepares delivery tickets.
• Confers with dispatch and plant personnel to establish delivery and pick up schedules.
• Cleans scales, scalehouse and surrounding areas.
• Assists Quarry Superintendent as required and/or needed.
• Understand and adhere to all Government Regulations.
• Able to work independently with attention to detail.
• Able to follow direction and work effectively in a team environment.
• Able to respond to stressful situations and customers in a professional, courteous manner.
• Ability to effectively prioritize assignments to meet long-term and short-term deadlines.
• Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations.
• Able to multi-task and utilize computer programs as required

  • Reliable source of transportation.
  • Must submit a drug screen and criminal background check.Education and/or Experience
