highly motivated and experienced Licensed Graduate Professional
Counselor (LGPC) to join our team in the medical industry. This is
a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits
package. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing
crisis intervention and counseling services to patients and
families in a fast-paced medical environment.Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to patients
and families in a medical setting
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop treatment plans and
ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in
accordance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide
consultation to medical staff as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and families
regarding mental health and wellness
- Stay current on best practices and advancements in the field of
mental health counselingQualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling or related field
- Active LGPC or LCPC license in the state of employment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in crisis intervention and
counseling
- Experience working in a medical or healthcare environment
preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and ability to apply them
in clinical settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs and
