Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector II to support the inspection and quality assurance of medical devices, components, and raw materials. This position ensures all products meet regulatory, customer, and internal standards. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in quality inspections and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections across all stages of production
Inspect outsourced and internally manufactured products and components
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, company SOPs, and industry standards (21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, EU MDR, MDD, CMDR)
Accurately communicate and document quality issues with urgency
Apply GMP in all areas of work
Escalate quality or compliance concerns as appropriate
Perform preventative maintenance as needed
Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

Proficient with inspection tools: calipers, micrometers, and hard gauging
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong math skills, including fractions, ratios, and proportions
Excellent vision and manual dexterity
Capable of lifting/moving up to 25 lbs. occasionally
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Solid written and verbal communication skills

Education & Experience:

Associate degree or equivalent experience in medical device manufacturing, QA, or related field
1-2 years of inspection or production experience required
Familiarity with FDA QSR and ISO 13485 preferred
