Job Description: GridIron IT is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer with an Active Top Secret Clearance. The team is involved in operation and sustainment of multiple operational cloud deployed geospatial solutions. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and have experience with installation, configuration, administration, support and maintenance of cloud-based systems and administration of citrix-based desktops in cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will involve taking a leadership role in system changes and improvements; working directly with government and contractor POCs to troubleshoot and responding to complex user INCs (Incident Reports); proactively recommend configuration changes to help improve system performance; Deploy security patches and bug fixes to test and operational environments; update critical databases with new data; author and update operational and security documentation, including troubleshooting guides and SOPs.


Core Qualifications: Requires a BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience; OR 6 years of experience in lieu of degree Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post hire DOD 8570 Certification (Security+ or equivalent or higher) Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Windows administration experience Experience completing security remediation tasks based on security scans Citrix administration experience Knowledge of Systems, Architectural, SW Development and SW Sustainment Practices Proficient in software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment. Experience with AWS architectures and technologies Familiar with Amazon Web Services (S3 Buckets, EC2, Reserved Instances, etc.) Familiar with Git/GitLab or other source code control tools Familiar with System Engineering documentation creation (VDDs, diagrams, etc.) Familiar with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence) Additional tasks as assigned
















Preferred Qualifications: SAFe Agile Certification Experience providing systems engineering support for geospatial products Citrix certification(s) AWS certification (e.g. Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps Engineer)





Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $120,000-$145,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
