Corteva Agriscience is searching for a Sr. Risk Analyst. The Sr.
Risk Analyst role is a new role within Treasury that will support
activities across the FX and commodity risk management functions as
well as capital markets. The role will administratively report to
the Global Risk Manager but will also work closely the commodity
middle office team within the corporate Treasury group and Capital
Key Responsibilities - What you will do to help us grow!
+ Support design, implementation and oversight of FX hedging
+ Perform periodic FX trading, commercial paper issuance,
investments, and executing internal transactions.
+ Support preparation of quarterly financial reports,
reconciliations, controls, and disclosures related to hedging and
capital market activities.
+ Review executed commodity derivative transactions for accuracy
and confirm trades with brokers and counterparties.
+ Perform periodic portfolio reconciliation of commodity
transactions to ensure continued accuracy of trading data and tie
out on mark-to-market values.
+ Run control reports on market data feeds and transaction
valuations and perform back-testing on risk models.
+ Assist in preparation of FX and commodity performance reports and
other materials for C-level review.
+ Develop, document, and operationalize new processes as needed to
implement limits and controls on commodity hedging activities in
accordance with hedging policies.
+ Participate in the implementation of a new risk management
systems, as needed.
+ Perform ad-hoc quantitative analyses and other responsibilities
Qualifications and Experience - What you'll bring to the table!
+ Bachelor's degree in finance or other technical field; MBA or
other advanced technical degree is a plus.
+ Prior experience with derivative transaction documentation and
valuation is a plus.
+ Experience establishing new processes and documenting new
+ Strong interpersonal, presentation, organizational, analytical,
project management, and communication skills.
+ Strong systems and Excel capabilities; familiarity with SAP/CFIN
is a plus.
+ Ability to speak Portuguese is a nice to have.
+ Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and process focused.
+ Conscientious and diligent in work.
+ Effective cross-team communicator and collaborator.
+ Ability to independently troubleshoot/handle complex issues with
