us! We have job openings in our Production Support and Machine
Operator roles.
DuPont currently has openings for Production Technicians in the
Electronics & Industrial Division at our Newark, Delaware
sites.

These positions we are hiring for primarily works on the 12-hour
rotating day/night shift. Candidates must be able to work on any of
the remaining shifts to provide coverage as business needs
arise.
Hiring Locations are the Newark-Bellevue, Newark-Tralee Park, and
Newark-Ruthar, Delaware sites.
Key Responsibilities of the Various Production Operator Roles
* Operate different types of machines and presses, including heavy
machinery
* Operating manufacturing process while ensuring quality and
conformance with standard operating procedures, including
preforming, loading/unloading baskets and loading/unloading
vessels
* Press set-up including tooling installation, removal and cleaning
and adjustments
* Press operation: including resin selection, fill hopper, SPC
operation, vibrator/shaker, feed-shoe operation
* Sintering: including electronic DFIS, cycle selection and
verification, nitrogen flow, oven operation, cycle data sheets
* Tumbling/drying: including part on part/media determination,
tumbler and oven dryer operation, transfer of parts to and from
tumbler and dryer, cooling parts
* Part auditing: create process verification (SAP, blueprint, and
control plan), lot sequencing, SPC data entry
* Packaging: including bagging, re-bagging, program label
application, weighing parts, storing supplies, SAP applications
* Sets-up, monitors and operates mills, extruders, presses, etc.
ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating
procedures
* Maintains safety and quality standards at all times. Initiates
and follows emergency procedures when necessary
* Routinely measure parts against specifications to ensure they are
within allowed tolerances using various measuring devices
* Operate fork trucks and motorized equipment
* Perform basic maintenance
* Perform area patrols to visually inspect, monitor equipment and
process conditions to ensure compliance with standard operating
procedures and environmental regulations
* Inspect and operate required testing equipment for product
quality
* Use the computer for data entry, MTL, Standard Operating
Procedures (SOP's), Logbook, training, non-conforming product,
audits, etc.; Follow and update operating procedures
* Follow all DuPont safety, quality, job, and site policies
* Rotates through various roles within the area.
* Follow established team standards for cleaning, PMs, and
production schedule
Note: For consideration for the position, one must participate and

Required Qualifications:
* A minimum of a High school diploma or GED is required
* Ability to work legally in the United States; No visa
sponsorship/support
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, and
Outlook
* Must be able to work overtime when required, per business
need
* Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, numerical, and
analytical skills are required
Preferred Requirements for Some Roles:
* Knowledge and experience with Automated Process Controls (PLC
system.
* Experience in powder metal pressing operations
* Ability to interpret blueprints
* Process Safety Management (PSM) knowledge and experience
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) & quality
protective equipment including steel toe shoes, gloves, hard
hat.
* Ability to wear a full-face respirator may be required for some
roles.
* While performing the duties of this job, various physical
requirements include: climbing stairs, bending, squatting, pushing,
pulling and performing overhead work.
* Stand for extended periods of time while working at machines
* Lifting > 20-30 lb. regularly, lifting 40-50 lb.

* Use of mobile equipment
* Some work requires manual dexterity & repetitive movements of the
upper extremities
* Responsible for ensuring, promoting, and working in a clean
environment with varying degrees of temperatures, humidity and

This role is located in Newark, DE and may require less than 5% of
travel.
