Role
As a Business Value Consultant, you will develop and implement strategies to build pipeline opportunities, drive growth, and improve efficiencies within your assigned sales teams. You will collaborate with sales to develop account strategies and plan to expand Splunk's portfolio across key buying centers and lines of business. Strategic priorities and execution will align with the customer's business imperatives and map to Splunk's capabilities to meet and exceed desired outcomes.
Responsibilities

  • Assist with framing deal psychology within an account
  • Craft a value hypothesis
  • Develop a pipeline focused on customer priorities
  • Align, define, and create value
  • Participate in forecast, deal strategy, planning, and review calls
  • Meet with Economic Buyers to discuss objectives and gain sponsorship for value workshops
  • Manage value realization workshops with the account team and partners
  • Deliver and support champion-approved roadmaps and value quantification
  • Integrate value, industry innovations, and roadmaps into executive proposals
  • Promote and enable Value Selling across teams
  • Support our Public Sector segment

    Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience selling enterprise SaaS; value consulting is a plus
  • Experience selling into Public Sector accounts
  • Experience with Customer Success and assisting sales in closing deals
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams towards common goals
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by accessing internal information and sharing where appropriate
  • Proven success managing multiple opportunities with different sales reps simultaneously
  • TS/SCI Clearance REQUIRED
