This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Human Resources function. This position will report to Chief Medical Offer.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Daily activities include: consulting with clients on the phone, working with the CMO(Chief Medical Officer) on projects, providing oversite to Wilmington Clinic Occupational Health Nurse, and occasionally providing health services to Wilmington area employees.Provides consulting services on interpretation, application, implementation, and communication of HS policies, procedures, practices, and plans.Leads in the development and interpretation of HS policy into Occupational and Mental Health programs, Environmental Safety and Health programs, Workers Compensation compliance, Human Resources policies and practices, and Labor Law compliance used by global HS resources.Audit oversite responsibilities to ensure compliance with corporate, federal, and state standards, guidelines and practices.Provide consultation to corporate core strategic direction, strategic business direction and site management relating to health care issues and concerns.Assist with the recruitment, orientation, and training of all new HS personnel.Participates om the development of strategic goals for HS developed through the interaction with other business and/or functions.Handles complex tasks/projects that cross-competencies HS/HR/ESH/Labor Law/Management.Manage HS vendors and contracts and work with managed care vendors to provide comprehensive prevention and well-being programs and to improve benefit design.Some direct supervision of HS staff and occasional provision of direct medical care.Strong Collaboration skills with individuals and other functional areas.QUALIFICATIONS:In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:Masters DegreePhysician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner license (in any state) with the ability to obtain a Delaware License within 6 months of hire.Acceptable certifications include: nurse practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA-C),Must have working knowledge of substance abuse, workers compensation, OSHA regulations, toxicology, epidemiology, disability case management, medical treatment of chemical exposures, preventive health care, ergonomics, safety and industrial hygiene, and employee assistance programsAbility to travel 10%The following qualifications are preferred:3-7 years experience in Occupational and Environmental Medicine2+ years of management experienceChemical or Manufacturing experienceEmployer is an equal opportunity employer.Employer is an E-Verify employer.Candidates must be able to perform all duties listed with or without accommodationIf the spirit of customer centricity, refreshing simplicity, collective entrepreneurship, safety obsession and unshakable integrity we are the home of some of the worlds greatest brands and greatest employees!
