KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under supervision of Director of Sales and Marketing, the ERP
Coordinator- Inside Sales, supports the production and sales and
marketing departments and provides effective customer service and
sales planning support. Provides support through in depth knowledge
of company products, programs and go-to-market plans. Effectively
communicates with customers, sales and marketing department team
members, production, and distribution center staff to ensure
customer satisfaction and successful sales program
implementation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Confers with customers to provide information about products; takes
and enters orders. Provides customers with prices, shipping date,
anticipated delays and any additional information needed.
Keeps records of customer interactions or transactions, recording
details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions
taken.
Monitors all EDI orders for accuracy regarding shipping date and
delivery or pick up information. Monitors private label orders and
alerts production.
Generate a monthly forecast report by requesting forecast data from
internal sales representatives.
Generates weekly Demand Plan based on the forecast report as a
projection for production and coordinates weekly sales and
operations planning process.
Creates quotes for customers, including school districts, and
provides proposals in a timely manner.
Checks MRUP, CustOrderWatch and itrade daily. Provides any data
required or contacts appropriate personnel as needed.
Monitors production order schedules and expedites delivery per
customer requests. Confers with production and distribution center
to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
Answers questions from customers or direct them to the appropriate
personnel to assist them.
Receives customer complaints. Obtains details of complaints and
seeks to resolve customer problems. Refers customer grievances to
appropriate departments for investigations, pick of returned
product and delivery of care package. Provides follow up to ensure
that problems were resolved to customer satisfaction.
Promote discounted items to sales representatives and customers
(Grocery Outlet, etc.) and solicit sales of new or additional
products.
Oversees company's direct to consumer sales efforts through Amazon
order management and customer service functions
Recommend improvements to products, packaging, shipping, service,
or billing methods and procedures to prevent future problems.
Creates annual sales planning calendar based on annual sales
program events; communicates calendar / events to sales and
marketing team
Creates monthly competitive pricing report on top selling items for
monthly pricing review meetings
Provides sales and marketing department support to New Products
Commercialization Team and coordinates weekly team meeting.
Provides sales planning support behind quarterly promotion drive
period events for sales and marketing team members
Prepares Quarterly and seasonal volume planning worksheet for
Monthly Risk Management meetings and production planning
purposes
Creates proposals, letters, and miscellaneous reports as
required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

TOOLS and TECHNOLOGY
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and
Outlook. Proficiency Internet skills. Proficient office skills:
telephone, copier, calculator, scanner.
Experience with manufacturing software. Familiarity with ERP or
CRM.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma. AA or Some business school experience
preferred. 3 to 5 years ERP, inside sales, customer service
experience, in a manufacturing setting with CPG.
WORK CONTEXT
Regular contact with others inside and outside of Berks Packing
Company, Inc. requires tact and discretion.
Mental demands occur regularly to frequently due to a diversity of
problems or distractions that interfere.
Physical Demands require operating equipment, sitting, and using
hands to finger, handle or feel almost continually due to use of a
personal computer. Walking and standing is required occasionally.
Lifting 25 pounds is required occasionally.
Work environment consists of good office conditions.
Must be able to work outside of regular business hours as
needed.
