Will Get to Do As a Senior Staff Accountant at Graham Architectural
Products (GAP), a division of OBE, you’ll play a key role in
driving financial accuracy, operational insight, and business
success. You’ll work collaboratively across departments to ensure
timely and accurate financial reporting, support strategic
initiatives, and provide data-driven insights that strengthen our
business performance. Your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing monthly financial reports and supporting the month-end
close process. Compiling and publishing daily revenue and labor
metrics, analyzing trends and anomalies. Troubleshooting revenue
recognition issues and supporting cost accounting processes.
Generating reports for key performance results and labor metrics in
systems like Kronos. Maintaining accurate job cost reporting and
backlog management for job closeouts. Performing entries and
reconciliations for accruals, commissions, and field service labor.
Managing and reconciling cash positions, accounts receivable, and
accounts payable activity. Coordinating fixed asset tracking and
depreciation with OBE corporate finance. Providing analytical
support for inventory management and cost efficiency projects.
Collaborating with project managers, warehouse staff, and other
departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Participating
in special financial projects and process improvement initiatives.
What We Are Looking For We’re seeking a detailed and proactive
accounting professional who combines technical expertise with a
collaborative approach. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
Administration required. Minimum of 5 years of accounting or
financial analysis experience in manufacturing. Strong
understanding of financial controls, compliance, and reporting
standards. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment. Independent, detail-oriented, and team-focused
