Senior Property Accountant Philadelphia, PA ? $75,000 – $80,000
/ year OVERVIEW Our client, a growing property management company ,
is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Property Accountant to oversee
financial reporting and accounting functions for a portfolio of
market-rate and commercial properties . This role is responsible
for managing the full accounting cycle , ensuring accurate
financial reporting, and supporting operational teams with timely
and actionable financial insights . The ideal candidate brings
strong property accounting experience , proficiency in Yardi , and
a solid understanding of real estate financial operations. WHAT
YOU’LL DO Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
for assigned properties Prepare and analyze financial statements,
budgets, and variance reports Perform CAM reconciliations and
ensure accurate tenant billing Handle bank reconciliations, journal
entries, accruals, and general ledger activity Assist with audit
preparation and respond to auditor inquiries Partner with property
management teams and vendors to ensure financial accuracy Ensure
compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures Support
leadership with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and financial projects
WHY YOU MATTER This role plays a key part in maintaining financial

supports operational decision-making, financial performance, and
long-term asset success . WHAT IT TAKES Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5 years of property
accounting experience ( commercial real estate preferred ) Strong
proficiency with Yardi required Experience with CAM reconciliations
strongly preferred Solid understanding of property management
operations and financial workflows High attention to detail and
strong organizational skills Excellent communication and
