Director, Federal Business Development Mission Support | Field
Operations | Infrastructure Services Compensation: $100-140k base,
based on experience, with OTE total $250k Location: Washington DC

Operations A growing services organization that supports federal
agencies during complex operational missions, infrastructure
programs, and emergency response situations is seeking a Director
of Federal Business Development to help expand its presence across
the federal market. This role is ideal for a business development
leader who thrives in environments where real-world operations
drive opportunity . Instead of waiting for long procurement cycles,
you will help identify mission needs early, build relationships
with agency stakeholders, and turn emerging requirements into
funded work. You’ll work closely with experienced operational teams
that deliver services supporting government programs across a wide

Build trusted relationships with federal program leaders,
operational stakeholders, and acquisition professionals Identify
emerging requirements and upcoming opportunities across assigned
agencies Position operational and support services that align with
agency missions Convert mission needs into funded work through task
orders or contract vehicles Collaborate with internal operational
teams to shape solutions and expand opportunities Manage pipeline
activity and revenue forecasting through CRM systems Grow strategic
accounts by maintaining consistent engagement with government
stakeholders Types of Opportunities You May Pursue Opportunities
often originate from: Operational or field-driven mission
requirements Infrastructure and facility support programs Agency
initiatives using existing contract vehicles Emergency response or
contingency situations requiring rapid mobilization Expansion of

Looks Like Successful candidates typically bring: Experience
developing business with federal agencies or government-focused
organizations A track record of identifying opportunities and
closing service-based engagements Familiarity with federal
procurement structures and acquisition processes Experience
managing pipelines and customer relationships through CRM tools The
ability to build credibility with both operational leaders and
contracting stakeholders Periodic travel may be required to support
customer engagement and opportunity development. Backgrounds That
